Shivani Bothra shares her long-standing knowledge on Jainism and the Dharma traditions. We discuss the relationship between Jainism and the environmental movement, especially through the lens of ahimsa, or non-violence. As a woman, she discusses women’s roles within Jainism and how those conflict or agree with Western ideals. Her knowledge opens our eyes to the fundamental principles of Jainism in the wider Western world.
