Jaeha Woo is the Research and Editorial Assistant at EcoCiv, where he contributes to grants and other projects through writing, copyediting, and research. Born in South Korea, Jaeha has studied philosophy and religion in U.S. institutions since college, and he recently received a PhD from Claremont School of Theology, based on a dissertation that brings together Kant, Kierkegaard, moral psychology, and theology. Through this piece, he tackles the question of how we can remain motivated to continue promoting justice despite our all-too-frequent failures in this regard.

When not in front of a computer, Jaeha enjoys cooking dinner while listening to NBA podcasts and playing board games with his family.
