Law, Politics, & Governance

We study changes in the prevailing views and institutions within law and politics. A sustainable civilization will require a focus on ecologically constructive approaches to law and politics. But how can these spheres avoid serving the needs and desires of ecologically destructive interests? Issues of freedom, security needs, competing definitions of justice and “the good life,” and shared global values are addressed in this research, which begins with the standpoint of a civilization that would be sustainable over hundreds of years.
