Driving Change for Water Security During COVID-19

This fully online event will focus on a more applied study of on-the-ground solutions to the large-scale water and public health issues discussed in the first W12+ Exchange of 2021 (held on February 4th). Experts representing multiple perspectives will present possible solutions to identified risks that have worked in some places and may be replicable in others. The panelists will discuss the complexities of scaling solutions; how to balance replicability with locally relevant solutions; and the specific challenges of policy and financing in times of crisis such as the pandemic.
This event will build upon the “macro” view presented in the first Exchange by presenting “micro” or applied solutions to these global issues. Experts will be invited to talk about their career experiences, challenges, and solutions at the nexus of water security and COVID-19.
